We do not use advertising or third-party marketing cookies on the UPRISE platform. We do not sell data to advertisers.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the UPRISE admin portal to operate and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take — such as logging in, setting your language preference, or adjusting your display settings.

Examples of essential cookies we use:

• Session token: Keeps you logged in while you navigate between pages. Expires when you close your browser or log out.
• CSRF token: Protects your account from cross-site request forgery attacks.
• User preferences: Stores your branch selection, language, and display preferences.
• Security flags: Records security-relevant state such as recent password changes or two-factor authentication status.

Because these cookies are strictly necessary for security and functionality, they cannot be disabled via our cookie settings. However, you can delete them at any time through your browser settings, which will log you out of the platform.

Mobile App Tracking

Our parent and teacher mobile applications (iOS and Android) do not use browser cookies. Instead, they use similar technologies appropriate for mobile environments:

• Device identifiers: Anonymous identifiers used to maintain your login session and distinguish your device for security purposes.
• Local storage: Used to cache app data for offline access and improve performance.
• Push notification tokens: Required to deliver real-time notifications to your device. You can disable push notifications through your device's notification settings at any time.
• Crash reporting: Anonymised diagnostic data to help us identify and fix app crashes and performance issues.

You can manage app-level permissions (notifications, storage access, camera) through your device's Settings app. Revoking certain permissions may limit app functionality — for example, disabling camera access will prevent photo uploads.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use, legal requirements, or our platform features. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through in-app notifications or by email.
